Fashion FRIDAY: A snippet of your worth…..
I wonder if like me you have that friend. You know the one, that beautiful friend who has so much going for her. She’s smart, beautiful and lights up the room when she is present. I mean, to you she might seem normal or regular (whatever that is), but to me she is a QUEEN. Unfortunately she’s also the one who seems to attract the worst type of fella. The kind that doesn’t look after your heart, honour and respect you. These types of men feel it’s ok to string you along and make you think they see your value but actually, they only want to connect with you in one way and I’m not talking about your mind……! It doesn’t matter how many times you encourage this friend to end their relationship they won’t because they don’t feel worthy of better. Maybe you don’t have a friend like this but you are this person. If so, this post is just for you, just a simple message about your worth….
With scenarios like this I can only share from the deepest part of my soul and I can’t hold back how I really feel. I don’t wish to offend anyone regarding their belief system but I must share my truth in the purest and most sincere way I can.
Before you were born, there was a creator who knew all about you and placed so much value on your life. He knew what you would be like and carved out every finite detail of your being from the inside out. He thought you were worth dying for so He sent His son Jesus to be mocked, beaten and tortured to death so that you could live a life of worth. When He looks at you He see’s the real you: the beauty, radiance and depth that lies within you. He thinks you deserve the best and that’s why he gave the best He had for you; His only Son.
Maybe you were never told that you’re a queen and therefore you deserve a king who would pursue you with integrity and honour. Respect you enough to want to get to know you on an intellectual level and not just a physical one. Someone who would see you as the world’s most priceless diamond to be protected and cherished. You are worth more than I can articulate with words. The love that God has for you spans wider than every ocean in the universe…
